What are pre-payment cards?
If you, your family, employees or clients use debit or credit cards, at home or
whilst travelling, on business or holiday - there's now a new safe, secure, financially
desirable alternative-Pre-payment cards.
You can mitigate the damage of theft and fraud, or a criminal draining your UK bank
account of funds, by using a pre-paid card. And you will save money at the same
time.
The cards are the new, safe, secure way to purchase. You simply 'load' the card
with funds from a designated bank account- via mobile phone or the internet- and
then use it in the same way as a traditional card. It will be accepted at all the
same places, but you will never be at risk of loosing more than the card is 'loaded'
with, and you are in control of the card at all times. Blocking it from use takes
seconds, and again can be done via a mobile phone or the internet.
For travellers, cards are available in several foreign currencies- such as US Dollars and
Euro.
The cards are the new, safe, secure way to purchase whilst abroad. Again, you simply
'load' the cards with the foreign currency before you leave (at competitive exchange
rates) or whilst you are away via mobile phone or the internet- and then use it
in the same way as a traditional card.
As well as the benefit of competitive exchange rates when the card is loaded, unlike
when a traditional sterling card used abroad, you will avoid paying commission or
exchange fees when the card is used.
In addition, if you are encouraging your clients to apply for and use the card,
you will earn commission not only at the time of issue, but also every time the
card is used in a transaction that generates fees (Merchant fees, ATM withdrawals,
currency conversion at 'loading' etc)
